I don't think it's unreasonable to make a stab-in-the-dark assumption: You're either extremely excited to read this book (inner dialogue: OMG, FELICIA DAY WROTE A BOOK!"). Before she became an actress and a geek icon, Day double-majored in mathematics and violin. She has always been very good at math, but when she took Group Theory in the summer semester, she hit a speed bump. She failed the exam the first time, and her professor told her to try and get a "B". A "B"? That was not an option. Determined to get an A, Day spent her whole summer studying Group Theory.
