And I know, I know, this is a book blog, but rules are meant to be broken, and The Martian is the perfect exception. Don't even look at it as a proper review. This is just me going on and on about how much I love this movie. The Martian is a fantastic movie. Aside from doing justice to Andy Weir's great novel, this is a well-written, well-acted, well-directed film with great editing and the perfect soundtrack.
